Wow, this was one of those jobs that just goes on and on! This Les Paul originally came in to have the headstock refinished as the lacquer was peeling, very common in Les Pauls from the 90’s. It had also been in storage for quite a while and needed a once over to bring it back to life.
In the end it turned out that the bridge pickup had died and tow of the pots were no longer working.
All faulty parts replaced, all metal work cleaned and the headstock relished this guitar is literally been brought back to life.
I wish I could have found a correct “Les Paul” decal for the headstock but I think it looks kind of classy without it.
