Interesting one… it looks like this guitar was re-fretted some time in the first four or five years of its life, why? Now that’s the mystery…
Whoever did the re-fret took so much of the fretboard when levelling it that one of the side dots was almost coming through the top of the board, this also mean the board was sitting a bit too low in relation to the bridge so I had to plane it down.
It was in need of a fret level at the very least and re-fret is on the cards bit the low fret board will cause issues in the future, maybe a new fret board will be required?
The action was left a little higher as the owner likes to “dig in”.
