The owner of this Gibson found the pickup that came with it was very bright sounding and felt a tone pot would help. Obviously the guitar itself could be bright but we decided to install a Fishman Sonitone pickup which has a volume and a tone. The hope is this guitar will be “useable” with a new pickup.
