This old bass came in with intonation issues. The action had been raised up to stop fret buzz but it was so high it was sending the intonation way off. I bright the action down to resolve this issue but there was a hump in the neck after the 13th fret meaning I had to find the best compromise. The same was said the for the strings sharing a saddle so this one really is “good enough for rock n roll”.
Even though the fingerboard is a veneer it was very very dry and in need of some lemon oil. What a transformation.
