This well played Yamaha came in for a re-fret and a prospective pickup upgrade. There was also a good sized crack under the end of the fingerboard, not that far from a full headstock repair. The pickup upgrade was passed on for another time in this instance.
I glued the crack beck together and re-moved the frets, replacing them with stainless steel. Sone how the original nut was way too high even with the new frets so no need to replace.
