Don’t see many of these and I had two enquiries about installing pickups in resonators is the same week! This lead to to the Fishman Nashville Biscuit Pickup which seemed the best option from what limited things I could find on the market.
The installation was quite tricky due to the nature of the guitar (you can’t get to the bridge with the front plate on). also I had to install the output jack on the edge like an electric as there are bracings in the way preventing an endpin jack being installed.
The original bridge had a crazy radius on it so playability was really improved. I had to install the strings backwards to get a little more downward pressure on the saddle once the action was down.
