This copy came in for a setup and a custom (somewhat experimental) pickup to be installed. Someone had made a custom scratch plate and pickup cover, which was so thick it prevented the fitted pickup from working properly.
I made a copy of an invader pickup, something I’ve never done before and it turned out really well, if a little lighter at just under 14k compared with the Invader which comes in at around a whopping 16k!
This guitar had its issues, the bridge is in the wrong place and the custom made scratch plate has the pickup in the wrong place, but some jobs have a limit based on what the guitar is worth. All in all I think it turned out pretty good.
