This bass was in need of a setup and there were some issues with the electronics. On inspection there was a short circuit somewhere causing the strings and metal parts to be live, it was quicker and therefore cheaper to remove and replace what suspected where broken pots as they gave odd readings and the bass sounds as it should. I gave it a setup and well needed clean, remember when playing your guitar or bass it’s a good idea to wash your hands and wipe it down when you’ve finished. Your stings will last longer and it’ll sound better for longer.
