This Strat had been worked on before and the nut slot had taken a bit of a beating. The Tusque nut that had been installed was sitting at a funny angle and didn’t look great. the guitar had been setup too low for the owner and they had made some adjustments but still weren’t happy with it.
On inspection I could see that the neck had been stripped and the frets were quite worn, I suggested that it might be an idea to re-fret the guitar with a satin lacquer finish tidying up the look and feel of the guitar.
