The owner complained that they weren’t enjoying playing this as they felt they should, at first I thought it just needed a setup but a closer inspection revealed a few high frets so we agreed to give it a fret level. The level showed that the frets were high in what looked like a spiral and I wondered if the neck had twisted, I don’t think this was the case. There were also a couple of frets that were dented, as if the guitar had taken a knock at some point. All levelled and re-crowned this s playing very nicely now, if I do say so myself.
