What is it with Partscasters at the minute!? This one came in with owner wanting me to finish off their project. Initially it was the nut and a setup they were interred in but mentioned they were also having an issue with one of the pickups. When I investigated I found that unfortunately the pickup was broken as it didn’t quite fit in the cavity which was routed for a Humbucker. Personally I would have also assumed that the single coil would have fitted but apparently not. I routed the pickup cavity larger to make sure there were no issues, shielded the guitar with copper and installed a bone nut. I must say that for a home job this is a really good job and I was impressed with the paint on the body. I enjoyed this one.
