This old Eko came in with the owner complaining that the intonation was all over the place. On inspection the nut was cut too high so the string were completely missing the zero fret meaning the scale length was wrong. I tried to work with the plastic nut but it crumbled once I put a file next to it. I replaced the nut with a bone one, not for any reason other than that was to hand, as the nut on this guitar does nothing more than keep the strings in the correct place. Great guitar to work on and being able to alter the action with the screws was great!
