This Martin came in to have an L R Baggs Anthem installed but I advised a setup to get it playing at least how it did before the pickup was installed. Unfortunately the owner had not been advised the this version of pre amp didn’t fit their guitar as the base was too big. I had to made some extra stand offs so the it would make a bridge and fit.
Advisories on this one are; a bridge plane as it is sitting way higher than the frets so the action is high, either a new nut (it’s cut very low) or a fret level, as they are showing signs of wear.
Setup with D’Addario 80/20 Bronze 12 – 56 for a slightly brighter sound.
