Martin 12 String

This Martin came in for setup. The action was very high even with the neck in back bow, which I can only assume was done to try to combat this. The nut was also very low but I wanted to see how the guitar was once the neck had a more normal relief.

On Insertion I found the bridge was much higher then the frets and needed to be planed down if I was ever going to get the action down near somewhere that was comfortable to play.

Setup with supplied D’Addario 10 – 47, the nut is still what I’d call on the verge but it plays well and the action has been halved.
