This working musicians acoustic came in with an apparently easy repair where the endpin jack had twisted off as it was loose. I swapped it for a new one changed the battery and had the tuner working but no output from the pickup. Unfortunately the pickup was hardwired to the circuit board and uneconomical to repair. A Fishman replacement pre amp was £179 and also out of the owners budget but I managed to find a copy for £30, which while I don’t endorse this kind of thing left them with a working guitar. One of the plastic tuner washers had worn out so I replaced. This guitar is in need of a fret level as they are very uneven and causing some sitar noises on the D and G strings especially, for another time though…
