Gibson Les Paul Studio

This was a tricky one. The break had happened some time about and getting the parts to marry up was difficult. I added splines too as I was worried that the joints wouldn’t be strong enough. Took a lot of trail and error to get anything near a match in the colour as the guitar had aged was different variations of white on the body, neck and headstock. I also needed to spray the front of the headstock to cover the bits that had broken out.

Two of the tuners had taken some damage so I replaced them with some nickel ones I had in the shop.

Setup with D’Addario 10 – 46 I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen frets that tarnished before! Recommendations for the future would be a fret level as the frets are pitted and possibly a new nut as it is lower than I’d like.
