Gibson Les Paul Standard

Les Paul Standrad in for a fret level. I found the neck was in pretty bad shape in that it was shaped a bit like an S and the frets were really even. I had to tighten the truss rod quite a bit to find a line of best fit to level. In the end it seemed fine as the frets were very high.

The strings on the bridge weren’t really in the right place and you can see how lop sided they are with a big gap between the high E and the edge of the fretboard.

Everything did come together but it was a bit of a fight!

Setup with supplied Ernie Ball 9 – 42.
