There was no output on the neck pickup of this Les Paul. On inspection I found it had been re-wired and the tone pots disconnected. What I couldn’t work out straight away was that the tone pots had been used as the volumes with the cap just discontented from ground and floating around in the cavity. I also found that the earth of the neck pickup was disconnected along with the actual pot basically falling apart. I put the pot back together, removed the caps and re-attached the pickup ground.
This guitar could benefit fro a setup at the least, but the nut is also very low. Maybe a re-wire too but that might just be me being anal.
