This Gibson had a cracked side which was quite mobile, you could open it up considerably by pulling the top and bottom! Luckily it was still pretty much in line and I was able to get quite a bit of glue in there.
As it’s so close to xmas this guitar is going home like this but will be back in the new year for finish repairs. This is also a good idea and we can be sure the repair will hold.
