Here was have a cheapish 12 string acoustic pretty much straight out of the factory. You can really see the benefit here from giving a new guitar just a little love and attention as most companies just don’t take the time. The fretboard was so dry that wood looked almost grey and the frets, though no to bad were dull, tarnished and scratchy to play. The height of the strings at the nut was too high and the bridge saddle didn’t match the radius of the fingerboard and gave a very high action, especially at the low E side. After addressing these issues, a slight adjustment of the truss rod and a new set of strings this guitar was ready to go.
