Another Prestige in for fret work, this time with stainless steel frets. This had been done quite uneven, especially at the top end, took quite a bit ion work to get it level.
The owner was struggling with this guitar a bit, being used to Strats and not a floating trem, this guitar wasn’t behaving itself. On inspection there were a few things that needed attention; the string guide wasn’t pulling the strings low enough onto the nut, the trem was a little high, and the string radius didn’t match the radius of the fret board.
I used some shims to sort the strings radius and after the frets were level I set the guitar up with a low action.
