I gave this Jaguar the works; the frets were pitted and flat so they were levelled and re-crowned. The guitar itself was very dirty and had stickers and scratches on the body, I removed the stickers and flatted the lacquer where the scratches were so I could polish it. I deep cleaned all the hardware in my ultrasonic cleaner and replaced the missing pick guard screws and the the grub screw in the bridge that had been replaced with a bit of paper.
I added a ground to the controls to prevent it losing signal if the pots became loose.
The tuners were bent way out of shape so I replaced them with a Gotoh set.
