Ferrington Mini Acoustic

This guitar is quite interesting, if you’ve not heard of the brand I suggest you have a quick google!

The neck was sinking into the body and the bridge bulging some so I was never going to get the neck totally straight, this is all about compromises… The frets were popping out and need replacing, and the nut was also not good. I replaced that with a bone one. The truss rod nut was a very odd so I swapped it for a Gibson style one, I tried to “level in” some relief and it worked to a point.

Some of the bridge pins were missing so I got a fresh set of ebony ones with abalone dots.

It’s by no means perfect but setup with D’Addario 12 – 53.
