This acoustic came in with a buzz around the 5th and 7th. On inspection the nut was way too low on the D and G and the frets were worn so I advised a fret level. It then became apparent that there was a real low point on the 7th fret and it was generally very uneven. There were also no less than four shims under the saddle meaning the action was crazy high. Removing them and it was bob on. There were some scratches and marks on the bridge where the pins had been attached so I sanded them out and got the bridge looking nice again. Setup with D’Addario 11 – 52.
