The owner wanted this guitar set up but on inspection it was clear it needed a fret level as they were very flat and pitted. The guitar was also in need of a good clean, the owner had mentioned the pots were scratchy and this won’t have helped.
There was a piece of capacitor or resistor stuck to the back of the bridge pickup, probably left over from when a treble bleed was installed. I cantle imagine this would sound great if it moved around whilst the guitar was being played. I removed it.
The frets came up great.
