This guitar came in for a setup. When it arrived it had no strings on, so I set to work. I found that the frets were all over the place, with what appeared to be a hump somewhere above the 14th fret. It was causing the high E to bottom out when it was bent, common on Fender with a 7.25″ radius I know, but this was ridiculous. A fret level was required.
Once levelled the guitar behaved much more like it should. Sometimes you have to do things twice…
