Stratocaster that came in for a setup and two have a new scratch plate installed. Here’s the thing; not all scratch plates are the same, even if they say Fender on them. In this case it was only slightly different and I only needed to drill one new hole for the screw.
The rubber tubing had rotted and needed to be replaced, I chose some springs which will last better.
The setup was straightforward, although this guitar has a 12″ radius on the fretboard which is unusual for a Strat.
