This guitar came to me for a pickup swap and setup. The owner had got it cheap as B stock and mentioned that the headstock had been damaged when he dropped it off. I remarked that I thought the repair wasn’t very tidy but if it was functional there was no issue. I changed the pickup and then removed the strings to find that as far as I could see no repair had ever been attempted on the guitar and the crack was open. The owner contacted the seller and they asked for photos and a quote for the repair (which seemed odd to me if they’d already repaired it?) Payple was contacted int he end and a full refund offered on return of the guitar.
