Dan Smith Fender Stratocaster

1983 Stratocaster in as it wouldn’t tune and there was no output. During this period fender made some big changes to the Strat design which make this guitar stand out. No rear route and the output being in the Scratchplate are the obvious differences. I needed to give this guitar a deep clean as some parts were heavily rusted, some grub screws were passed saving and needed to be replaced. Wipe your guitar after you use it to stop metal parts going rusty!
The strings are anchored in a way that makes them jump out easily, care needs to be taken when changing the strings…
There’s a fret level in this guitars future I would say and maybe a new nut.
