This bass came in with a noise issue. These are always tricky as out here in the workshop it’s very very quiet so you often can’t hear the interference you might get in a more populated area. The wiring was a mess though and there was absolutely no shielding in the cavity. I used copper tape to cover the control cavity and tidied the wiring up, especially the pickup coil link wires.
