Here’s one for the “interesting” folder; Nicely made acoustic from Devon in for a double pickup installation plus a request to have a Galleon Nail added to the guitar as a strap button. I tried to do the install as revisable as possible so I made a frame from the left over baked maple and screwed that to the body.
The outputs for the pickups had to go on the side of the guitar so care needs to be taken here as it’s a bit of a weak spot. The Fishman will need to be removed to change the LR Baggs battery but I could need see a way round that without adding a battery box.
Not much of a setup required, was pretty good out of the box. I had to replace the one missing Martin Liquid metal bridge pin, which are very expensive. The replacement was a camel born one.
