Aria XL DLX

This guitar came in for quite a lot of work, a new neck, trem and locking nut, new pickups and a fret level. As I told the owner when the dropped it off, things are often not straight forward when doing this kind of thing and there are always “unknown”.

In this case they were as follows; the trem route wasn’t big enough and needed enlarging and that was the same story for the the hum buckers when it came to it. The volume pot fell apart when I removed the knob and the shelf for the locking nut wasn’t deep enough.

Other issues where that the trem block on the new trem was too deep at 37mm. I swapped it for the original one which was 34mm. The new neck (which is not a Jackson) had a reverse headstock but the tuners were right handed meaning they work backwards.

Setup with supplied Fender 9 – 42.
