These bit came in and they come with a lesson; Not All Bits Go Together Easily – Even If They Are From The Same Model Of Guitar. The issues where multiple on this one, the neck pocket was completely wrong for the neck, as a result no standard scratch plates fitted, the neck pocket was also too high for the neck meaning it sat proud once it was finally together. A lot of work went into putting it right so beware if you’re planning on taking on a project like this.
An interesting wiring request with this one which took a bit of head scratching, I’m not that bright but I think I got there in the end.
Did a relic job on the custom scratch plate which isn’t something I really like but I think it turned out ok, let me know what you think…
