The job here was to install a Mexican Fender Jazz neck, swap the pickups and bridge and use the original tuners and string tree. Not all guitars are created equally but the neck was an OK fit although there are some gaps. The Lace Riffblaster pickups sound immense and the Badass bridge pretty much lined up for a drop in.
I had to sand the tuner holes to get the bushes in and the nut needed some finessing to get the strings spacing right.
This would benefit from a fret level as there are some high frets meaning I couldn’t get the action as low as I’d like.
Setup in drop C with supplied Rotosound 45 – 105.
