Dino, the guitar player from Franz Ferdinand asked me to assemble this Partscaster for him. It needed a refret and as it turned out quite a bit of work to get the bridge in the right place. Often different bits from different guitars don’t marry up exactly, even when they’re the same model and scale length etc, there are small differences that can add up to a guitar that just isn’t right. In this case I had to plug and redrill the existing holes for the bridge posts.
The guitar came together great though in the end and the pickups from The Creamery really do sound great.
