This bass came in with a broken pot, the owner had attempted to repair but in the end brought it to me. The shaft of the pot was completely separate from the track, in fact it had snapped off and came away with the knob when I trued to remove it. I found the knob had been forced onto the shaft with paper and possibly glued as I could not remove it. I replaced the pot but there was still no output from the P bass pickup. On inspection I found that it was shorting but was not repairable. Replace with a Tone Rider pickup (I can’t make a pickup that cheap!).
