Fender Stratocaster

This 90s Strat had some seriously rusted up parts. I had to saw two of the saddle screws off and drill out two screws to get the scratch plate off. All of the saddles needed replacing as they were completely seized up.

I plugged the holes that were created by drilling out the problem screws and re-drilled. The frets were very worn and pitted and the guitar has benefitted from a fret level. I replaced all the rusted screws with new ones.

The output was so badly corroded it needed replacing, while I was there I tidied up the messy job done installing the Seymour Duncan bridge pickup.

Setup with Elixir 10 – 46.
