Old Hofner that is a bit of an heirloom came in as the Scratchplate had become damaged and they aren’t the kind of thing that you can get off the shelf. It took quite a bit of work to copy the original, especially the writing that was etched near the numerous switches. I had to extend one of the pickup wires to get it to fit, plus the bridge earth wire had been repaired at some point with something that impeded the Scratchplate fitting snug, so I drilled a hole for the wire to go straight to the bridge post.
