There’s not many guitars that I get in that have been left to go south quite as much as this one has! The trem was pretty much completely fused together with rust and although I did manage to get some parts loose to restore it would’ve been more expensive than replacing, so I opted for a Gotoh replacement.
One of the screws holding the scratch plate in place were blown so I had to drill it out and plug. The frets were every worn and incredibly tarnished, much in need of a level and polish.
I thoroughly cleaned and saved everything I could and brought this cool looking, naturally aged Strat back from the dead.
