The owner of this Epiphone wanted a face lift and for his guitar to play like a Gibson. The fret job left a lot to be desired with high and low frets all over the place.
I suggested a fret level was the way to go and your can see just how uneven they were if you look at the pictures. Once levelled and re-crowned the polished up great.
I swapped the hardware for some chrome equivalents and changed the white plastic parts for cream. Some things weren’t interchangeable though, the strap buttons that were provided for example had screws that were too small and wouldn’t accommodate the originals either.
I had to do some work to the pickup frames to get them to fit, you can get them specifically made for Epiphone, it’s always a good idea to ask before you buy parts for your guitar.
