Another Strat in for a fret level. This time the guitar hadn’t been played in some time and when the owner picked it up again they found there was a lot of fret buzz, especially from the open low E. On inspection the frets were uneven and once I started levelling them it was clear there was a hump around the 14th fret.
After a level and polish the frets came up great, getting the lacquer off them took a bit of work mind. I had to play about with this guitar to get the setup right but eventually it played ball.
