Had a real classic in today; ladies and gentlemen the Gibson B.B. King Lucille. I’ve wanted to get my hands on one of these for ages so it’s been awesome to work on one on the bench. Apologies for the amount of photo’s but I got carried away! There wasn’t really anything wrong with the guitar other than the usual nut and bridge issues but I did turn up a few random ones like a strange rattle when the guitar was moved around. Turned out it was the choke (part of the Varitone circuit) that had worked it’s way loose. Anyway, I think it turned out pretty good.
