Gibson Les Paul

Nibs on frets can be a decisive issue. This guitar had a step between the end of the fret and the nib on the treble side which actually gripped the string and basically made it unplayable. It seemed over kill to re-fret the guitar when it was only just over 10 years old so I levelled it. Most of the issue was dealt with and there is no longer a step but you can still feel the transition between metal and plastic.

The bridge on this guitar had been swapped due to some previous work leaving the original bridge with the saddles in backwards. Unfortunately the new bridge had sunk in the middle so I re-fitted the original bridge which while not perfect, was in better shape. I also replaced one of the posts which was bent.

Clean pots and setup on 10s with a surprisingly low action.
